Together!
One day I was coming down the stairs and I suddenly stopped when I saw a little elephant who I’d never seen at that spot before. We have a big elephant for decoration at the stairway at a shelf. Maya my daughter had placed her little toy elephant next to it. She thought it looked so lonely there all by it self… I smiled for myself and got a bit moved, she has such a big heart!

Fairy lights
Today we have been packing away our Christmas decorations. “Oh no!” screamed my daughter when we started to ”undress” the tree. I want it to be cozy! And she is right, much of the coziness disappears when the holidays are over. But in our daughters and our bedroom we have ”fairy lights” a little bit longer, at least until springtime when it’s going to be brighter evenings.

Old sewing machine
I have four sewing machines… Yes, it’s true! One belonged to my grandmother, its one of those old vintage ones where you had to pump the foot pedal to get it going. (A post on grandmas old one is coming later.) I also have a modern sewing machine that I don’t use because it sucks! It was cheap and the only thing you can sew on it are maybe curtains, if the fabric is really thin! And then I have my mothers sewing machine that are nearly thirty years old but still going strong. I have borrowed it, for a couple of years now… Thanks mum!
And then I have this old vintage sewing machine. I bought it just because I think it is beautiful. I use it as a flower table and for decoration. Didn’t they make the most beautiful things in the old days? I think so!

Advent 2nd
Today I have ironing curtains and tablecloths for hours. Decorating for Christmas is so fun! I love the advent candlestick! It is needed to have lots of lights and candles this time of year!

Carambatack
I’ve bought a print from Carambatack Design, I really love this picture!
I have it in my craft room. It’s so nice to have great art and inspirational pictures around me when I’m being creative.
She sells her artwork at Etsy and shows her pictures at flickr.
I don’t know so much about this Norwegian girl only that she creates the most beautiful artwork and from her profile at Etsy she presents her self like this: “Hi! I’m Annette, I’m 35 and I live in a small town in Norway. I’ve been doing various forms of art for the past 16 years. I love to draw, illustrate and create beautiful things.”

from my craft room. The jug belonged to my grandmother; she used to serve coffee in it. I think it’s so beautiful.

Home Sweet Home
I made a framed picture out of scrapbooking paper and chipboard alphabet.
I think it got a bohemian feel to it. What do you think? My thought was to have black background but I didn’t have any black paper at home and I wanted to finish it right away. Not wait to the next day, of to the paper store and then home to get it done. (That’s me in a nutshell…) But I think it turned out quite well with that paper that looks like our wallpaper we had in the ’70s, in my childhood.

A drawer and some garbage
A while ago I bought a drawer used in old printer shops (Kastlåda in Swedish). Now it hangs in my crafty little corner and I have filled it with a bunch of tiny stuff.

At one of my favorite shops (Lagerhaus) I bought this little red garbage can and put some adhesive letters on it, the letters are from the same shop. SKRÄP = GARBAGE
