Aprons

The aprons are finally done. My dear sister was so kind to act as a model! I’m doing lots of things right now that relate to Christmas. It’s because I’m going to sell my things at a Christmas market.

Something for your nuts?

Here is a textile pot or a bag, I don’t know what to call it. You can also use it to have candy or nuts in it. Or what you want! This is as well for the Christmas market. The “pot” is reversible.

Sneak peek

Here’s a sneak peek on the apron. I soon will hit the sack so the apron maybe gets finished tomorrow. Or an other day, you never know…

No time to craft

I have nothing new to show you, not enough time to craft. Maybe I will find some time this weekend to use my sewing machine. I think I will do an apron.
This is my cutie pie…

Corners of my home

I thought I should show you some pictures of my home. I really like this white and clean style. But I have a soft spot for oriental design too, like they have in India. This is one of my favorite shops, “Indiska”.

Flash your stash!

Yesterday I visited a flea market. I bought this beautiful vintage pillowcases and sheets. Maybe I will be sewing something from these linen bedclothes.

Christmas already?

No, but very soon :-) I thought I should start early this year… The other years it has been like this: “- Is it 1:st of Advent already?! This is for the Christmas cards. The word “post” has been done in Photoshop… I’m going to use a textile pen to write it, I just have to buy one first!

Price tags

I’m about to sell some of the things I’ve made, and I want to do my own price tags. But I’m not sure what they would look like. Maybe something like this? What do you think?

Fabric banner

Last night I did a fabric banner for my daughter Maya. I hanged it in her corner, she don’t have her own room. She sleeps in our bedroom. I think the buttons between the banners turned out quite good.

Perfect storage

I bought this glass jar at IKEA. It’s perfect for ribbons and other stuff. I only bought one… I think I need to do another trip again soon. I have a lot of stuff…

Almost done!

I’ve done embroidery on a pillow case for my daughter Maya. I’m almost done, but it has taken a long time to get where I’m now. It’s too hot to do anything, I’m longing for the rain!

Typical Swedish style

I visited my relatives today in their summer cottage.
I think this red house is typical for Sweden.
My relatives live there all summer, no electricity, no nothing! It’s so picturesque!

Grandma´s old laces

My grandmother used to do laces, unfortunately I don´t know how to do it. And she´s no longer with us, so she can´t show me how. I've inherit her laces, buttons and kitchen towels. I treasure them dearly!

I´ve decided to start writing in english, so I can be understood by more people than those who talks swedish:-)
