I have made a birthday gift for my sister in law. I’ve glued some buttons on a “deep edge frame” and put a bit of lace on it. The lace belonged to my sister in laws grandmother. I will do one for my daughter too, with my grandmother’s buttons. I think it’s nice to recycle old things and use them in a new way.
These past few days I’ve been sewing a bunch of hearts. I maybe will sew some more, but with other fabrics. I’ve also started to do a few more aprons, which is really fun to sew!
Last week I was checking out the place where I will be selling my things, at the Christmas market. It’s an old stable. It’s a beautiful place with old cute houses. So, did I have the camera with me and took a bunch of photos to show you how it looks like? Noooo, because I’m a bit senile… I don’t know what price I should have on my things that I will be selling. Do you have any suggestions? Please help me! Here is some of the stuff I’ll be selling: Aprons
I’ve been thinking for a long time to do this tissue holder and today it finally happened. It didn’t take a long time to sew. I found these tutorials for making a tissue holder at whip up and Bella Dia.
Today I have finished a Christmas stocking. I’ve used bits of fabric, it takes a bit longer to sew but I really like patchwork.
[Picture: hummmlan] Niki at Nostalgia at the Stone House has also done a Christmas stocking, check it out! Hulda has also started with Christmas decorations.
