Maya sweater

This evening I did some sewing. Took one of my daughters sweater and did an appliqué with her name on it. Tomorrow I try to get a picture of her with the sweater on. If I can get her to stand still for a second…

Look what I found!

Was looking at the Swedish web shop Inreda.com when I saw this purse. I love it, it is hummmlan style. It’s the Danish company Rice who makes a lot of lovely things.

1 month

When Maya was one month old she just eat, slept and poo… That is what has been written like a frame around the layout… I've tried to take a photo on the 14th every month, so it would be exactly a month between the photos. She is born on the 14th of May 2005.

The first year

I’ve started to do a mini album for my daughter. It’s about her first year here on earth. I have only done the front page so far… It’s going to be 12 pages, one for each month.

Illustration Friday (change)

When my sister was little and started to dress her self my mother used to say: - Can you please CHANGE clothes? Mum thought the colours didn’t match. But my sister didn’t care, she was happy and thought she looked stunning.

Candy? No, buttons!

Went to IKEA the other day and bought some more glass jars. I love these ones! I think it is looking a bit like the pictures from an old candy store. I have these in my secretaire (bureau). I’ll show you some pictures of what it looks like inside, when I have tidy up in there…

Makeup bag

Today I have done a makeup bag for my niece, she is 17 years old. I think this is her style, or I hope so… The fabric is NOT blue it’s lilac. But my camera says otherwise! Here is a great tutorial for making a lined, zippered pouch. The other makeup bags I have done, I had to stitch the lining by hand. With this tutorial it shows how you do it on the sewing machine. This is the only thing I have been sewing today, my back hurts so I can’t sit by the sewing machine no more today. I hurt my back a couple months a go and I go on physiotherapy twice a week.

I’ve got mail!

Finally the package from Panduro arrived today! I’ve waited almost two weeks for it… Not all things that I ordered was in the package, I will get it in a couple of weeks. I’ve ordered some more fabric for the Christmas things I’ve been working on… Are you tired of hearing me talk about Christmas? I’m a bit tired myself ;-)

Tomorrow I will sew something, I have the apartment all by myself! I’m not sure yet what it will be. Tomorrow I show you some picture of it!

I’ve been sick so nothing in crafting has been done… I have a couple of ideas what I should be sewing next, so I’m anxious to get started! I also want to do a bit of scrapbooking, it’s a long time since I did a layout. Stop the time!!
