Extremely super glittery?

My daughter Maya and I are getting ready to go to a New years eve party. And of course you got to have nail polish that are glittery! Maya said: “Is this nail polish really extremely super glittery?” It is important that it is really sparkling so no one can miss it!

The keys to my heart

This is my necklace with an old vintage typewriter key with the letter M. I bought it on Etsy at Lizzybleu typewriter jewelry. The old key I think belonged to my grandparents. I found it in a drawer just laying there waiting to be found. I’ve been searching for a key like this on the internet for quite a while now. I couldn’t believe how lucky I was! I think it was meant to be… I chose the letter M because my daughters name starts with an M.
I think the old key and the typewriter key makes a good combo. What do you think?

No, it’s an elephant!

Is it a anteater? That is a question that I heard a number of times the last couple of days… I have crochet this elephant for my niece who is almost 5 months old. I gave it to her as a Christmas gift. It is a grab friendly elephant because of its very long trunk… And it doesn’t eat ants!!

The sun was shining today!!

Today I was out in our little forest we have on our lot. Luckily we have some spruce trees there. So the material for decorations are not far away… I took some branches and put them in an old container for soft soap. I think it smells so good! And some mushrooms of course… :-) For the front door I took some decorations that I usually have in the Christmas tree.
And the sun was shining, it couldn’t be a better day!

"Piu Piu" Bird Magnet

This little birdie holds my sewing needles. And it chirps when you touch it. Isn’t he cute? It can be used for holding paper clips too. A photo of another cute item, my pincushion! I got it when I was a child.

Note: Piu Piu is the nickname for little bird in France and Brazil.

Advent 2nd

Today I have ironing curtains and tablecloths for hours. Decorating for Christmas is so fun! I love the advent candlestick! It is needed to have lots of lights and candles this time of year!

More mushrooms!

I’ve tried to get some good photos of my crochet mushrooms but it has been so dark the last couple of days. Today it’s raining and we haven’t seen the sun for ages. I usually don’t let the weather get to me, but this is driving me crazy! I want light, I want snow!! I guess I can light some candles and have a nice cup of tea, get cosy
in the couch with a book or my crochet hooks and my yummy yarn. I think I will do that!
