I have four sewing machines… Yes, it’s true! One belonged to my grandmother, its one of those old vintage ones where you had to pump the foot pedal to get it going. (A post on grandmas old one is coming later.) I also have a modern sewing machine that I don’t use because it sucks! It was cheap and the only thing you can sew on it are maybe curtains, if the fabric is really thin! And then I have my mothers sewing machine that are nearly thirty years old but still going strong. I have borrowed it, for a couple of years now… Thanks mum!
And then I have this old vintage sewing machine. I bought it just because I think it is beautiful. I use it as a flower table and for decoration. Didn’t they make the most beautiful things in the old days? I think so!

Such a beautiful looking flower table. I'd like to get myself one. They don't make 'em like they used to!
The details on your photos are amazing. You are very lucky to have such sentimental treasures.

Your machine is gorgeous. I used to have one when I lived at my parents home to start learning to sew. I think my parents still have ti. It was my great grandmothers.
Wow an old Viking machine. How beautiful. I am with you I love the gold decals they put on these machines. A time where details mattered.
